The 16th International Conference on Surfaces, Coatings, and Nanostructured Materials will take place in Naples, Italy, from July 6th to July 10th, 2025.
NANOSMAT stands as a well-established and revered name in the realm of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology conferences.
The onference series has consistently provided an exceptional platform for the discussion of pivotal topics in the field of materials-related Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
In the 16th edition, the organizers anticipate an enriching and intellectually stimulating event that will bring together experts, researchers, and enthusiasts from around the world. It is planned to explore the latest advancements, sharing groundbreaking insights, and forging collaborative connections. NANOSMAT conferences have consistently attracted a diverse and talented international community, fostering the exchange of groundbreaking ideas, the sharing of cutting-edge knowledge, and the dissemination of technical expertise in the expansive realms of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
During the 16th edition of the “Conference of Surfaces, Coatings and Nanostructured Material – NANOSMAT 2024”, a Special Session on “NANO-OPTOELECTRONIC MATERIALS AND DEVICES FOR GREEN PRODUCTION OF ENERGY AND FUELS” will be organized by CNR-ISM and curated by Alessandro Bellucci and Daniele M. Trucchi. The conference will be held in Naples from 6 to 10 July 2024.
The Special Session is dedicated to recent and significant advances in materials and devices for green energy and fuel production. Renowned national and international Invited Speakers have already confirmed their participation.
All researchers involved in the topics of interest are invited to submit their contribution for a poster or an oral presentation by March 31, 2025.
As striking examples of this topic, the results obtained during two PRIN 2022 projects, SPEEDHY (Solar PhotoElectrochEmical black Diamond converters for HYdrogen and ammonia production) and TECHPRO (Thermionic Energy Conversion for High Power RadiatiOn), coordinated by the two co-organizers, will be reported and discussed with two specific sub-sessions during the Special Session program.
