The award, dedicated to personalities, companies and associations that have distinguished themselves, each in their own field, for having spread and/or protected Italian culture and Italianness.
The “Columbus International award” was conferred today to Maria Gentile for her daily commitment, for her unstinting dedication, for her concrete and active help to the Italian community in Miami. The award ceremony of the Prize, was held at Istituto Marangoni in Miami, in the presence of the Institutional and Business world.
The event, which enjoys the patronage of the Istituto Marangoni Miami and the Florida Atlantic University – Italian Program, is organized in collaboration with Casa Italia Miami, UNITED International Media Partners and MaMa communication (organizational arm and press office of Fondazione ITALY).
Maria Gentile, Esq. is a distinguished international business lawyer admitted to practice law in both Italy and Florida. Maria’s background encompasses M&A, international commercial transactions, commercial and civil litigation. Prior to moving to the U.S., Maria has been an associate with Martinez & Novebaci, Studio Legale Associato in Milan, Italy, working in the commercial litigation division. Maria assisted multinational corporate clients in their corporate law cases filed in the S.E.M.E.A. region (South Europe, Middle East, Africa), as well as international arbitration and start-up procedures.
Maria assisted Italian companies and entrepreneurs approaching the U.S. market and helped them with immigration, contracts drafting and real estate matters. Being licensed in both Italy and Florida, Maria’s assistance can be key for Italian companies’ and individuals’ transition to the U.S. market.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami Scientific Italian Community.
