De Furia (MSIC): Scientific research, innovation and technological know-how strategic assets of Italian companies

“Researching, Investing and Innovating are the keys to grow: this is the message of Think Tech Italia 2018 towards all Italian companies in order to be competitive and to measure themselves in a highly globalized market such as the high-tech market”, Fabio De Furia stated, President of Miami Scientific Italian Community, on the occasion of the opening of eMerge Americas, the main event in the US and Latin America focused on new technologies, scheduled in Miami on April 23 and 24. De Furia continues saying: “So, know-how, scientific research, innovation and technology are the strategic assets available to the Italian companies to excel and show the world their capabilities and potential and, in this sense, eMerge Americas is the great opportunity to meet the major players in the industry, discuss with the decision makers and the influencers, find partners and investors for research projects and promote the technological Made in Italy to the markets, such as Miami and Florida, which represent an important commercial, technological, logistic and financial hub for the entire American continent “.
Think Tech Italia, now in its 4th edition, is the project realized by the Miami Scientific Italian Community and specifically dedicated to the internationalization of Italian companies and start-ups with a high technological content, operating in the research, innovation and technology transfer. it is also the only aggregative reality of the productive system representing Italy that “innovates”. The aim is to present the Italian entrepreneurial excellence of small and medium-sized enterprises linked to innovative sectors and, through a partnership platform, to encourage the meeting and dialogue with research centers, venture capital, private equity, and universities, business incubators, large and medium-sized innovation companies and the capillary fabric of research and development in the USA and internationally.
eMerge Americas, now in its fifth edition, is one of the most important events worldwide for technological innovation and digital sector. It counts the attendance of over 6000 of the most important scientific and economic operators, institutional representatives, investors, companies and start up. Not surprisingly, it takes place in Florida, the third US state for the presence of ICT companies with over 25,000 active companies and over 250,000 specialized employees: especially in the areas of Orlando-Tampa, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, with a high concentration of start-ups and research centers.
