Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), in collaboration with SIMEST, ICE, and the Italian Consulate in Detroit, is organizing “Italy meets USA: Focus on Renewable Energy sector; In conversation with DTE Energy and ANIE.”
The online event will take place on Wednesday, September 27, and will be live-streamed starting at 4:30 PM Italian time (10:30 AM EST). After a plenary session presenting sector opportunities, B2B digital meetings between Italian companies and representatives from DTE Energy will be organized, hosted on the CDP Business Matching platform, on 2 e 3 october from 8.00 to 11.00 a.m EST.
This initiative will bring together experts and professionals to delve into the sector and business opportunities in the American renewable energy market. Particularly, representatives from the Federazione Nazionale Imprese Elettrotecniche ed Elettroniche – ANIE (which represents over 1,000 Italian electrical and electronics companies and industrial General Contractors within the Confindustria System) and DTE Energy, one of the leading American public utility companies in the energy sector based in Detroit, will be present. DTE Energy is involved in the development and management of energy-related activities and services, serving around 2.3 million customers for electricity and over 1.3 million customers for natural gas in Michigan.

The Business Matching platform, developed by CDP in collaboration with SIMEST and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is an innovative digital tool that facilitates the development of new business relationships between Italian and foreign companies through sector-specific B2B events and an algorithm that automatically matches Italian and foreign companies based on their business strategies and objectives indicated during registration on the platform.
Registered companies will receive support from CDP, SIMEST, ANIE, and DTE experts in organizing and conducting B2B meetings, which will also be scheduled in the days following the digital event based on the participating companies’ requests.
