Gilberto Dialuce, engineer, has been appointed President of the ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
Dialuce has over 40 years of institutional experience in the field of hydrocarbons, security of supply, market liberalization but also new technologies, energy efficiency, renewable sources, nuclear fusion, and electrical system research.
His work program, “an increasing role for ENEA” is based on issues on ecological transition, sustainability, energy, research, from the transfer of expertise to the public administration, local authorities, businesses, citizens and further growth of excellence, skills and services of the Agency to help the country to recover after this problematic period.
Gilberto Dialuce has succeeded to the Prof. Federico Testa who has led ENEA for seven years bringing it out of receivership.
Dialuce’s appointment was approved by Parliament after being nominated by Italian Minister of Ecological Transition, Roberto Cingolani.
