The entrepreneur Gianluigi Viscardi, founder and president of Cosberg, a company founded in 1982 in Terno d’Isola and active in mechatronics and automation is the new President of Italian Technology Cluster Fabbrica Intelligente.
The Italian Technology Cluster Fabbrica Intelligente is an association that includes large and medium-small companies, universities and research centres, company associations and other stakeholders active in the advanced manufacturing sector. The association is recognized by MUR as a driver of sustainable economic growth in all the regions of the national economic system, as it fosters the innovation and specialization of Italian manufacturing systems.
The objective is the development of a new generation of manufacturing systems that can evolve over time and dynamically adapt to the changeable conditions of the context, determined by turbulent demand, by rapid technological cycles and by the dynamics of competitiveness, seen also in its progressive evolution.
It is the only table at which all stakeholders involved in the fate of Italian industry sit simultaneously: companies, business associations, regions, universities and research institutions.
Viscardi is also president of the Digital Innovation Hub (Dih) Lombardy, coordinator at Confindustria of the national Dih network and president of the Intellimech Consortium.
