Edizioni Abete, part of the A.BE.T.E. SpA Group, a historic publishing house founded in 1946 by Knight of Labor of Italy Antonio Abete Joins the Associazione Marchi Storici d’Italia.
For nearly 80 years, Edizioni Abete has been telling the story of Italian art, history, and landscapes through publications of great cultural value, combining scientific rigor with editorial quality.
Through collaborations with museums and cultural institutions, it has contributed to the spread of Italian culture, making it accessible to an ever-growing audience.
Some works from the Italia Vivens series, such as Gli alberi monumentali (Monumental Trees) and I Boschi d’Italia (The Forests of Italy), have been hailed as true cultural events, becoming within a few years real classics of Italian ecological literature.
Alongside them, the volumes in the Incontro con l’Italia (Meeting Italy) series stand out. This series consists of ten richly illustrated volumes about European travelers and artists in the Bel Paese, as well as the L’uomo e la storia (Man and History) series, which includes the volume La storia della villeggiatura (The History of Vacationing). This work explores the psychological, historical, and social aspects of the “vacation” phenomenon, tracing its development over time, from Ancient Rome to the modern era.
Edizioni Abete’s entry into the Associazione Marchi Storici d’Italia celebrates a history of passion, research, and love for knowledge.
