Innovation: Miami Scientific Italian Community, Politecnico di Torino and Piccola Industria Confindustria together for the Export of Italian Technological Know-How in US

An agreement has been signed to develop strategic lines and stable communication networks between Made in Italy technological centers and international structures.

The Politecnico di Torino, Piccola Industria of Confindustria Piemonte and the Miami Scientific Italian Community have signed an agreement to export the technological know-how of Made in Italy to the United States through the definition of strategic guidelines to develop stable communication networks between technological centers and international structures.

The agreement was signed by the Magnificent Rector Prof. Guido Saracco, the President of the Piccola Industria of Confindustria Piemonte Dr. Gabriella Bocca and Dr. Fabio De Furia, President of the Miami Scientific Italian Community. The aim of the partnership is to make the interconnection between the operators along the entire chain of the innovation value, starting from the creative and scouting phase, to prototyping, development and market launch: all useful activities for the enhancement on the international markets of the young Italian talents’ patents.

The Rector of the Polytechnic of Turin Guido Saracco states, “One of our strategic goals is to strengthen the” innovation production chain “that starts from the development of competences and research results and ends with their final application. To achieve that, it is necessary to face the skills and funding gaps that are still present and to develop new models suitable for the architecture, design, and planning disciplines: an agreement like this goes in the direction of extending the models that we are applying in the University and that have already created national realities also on international markets.

The President of Piccola Industria of Confindustria Piemonte Gabriella Marchioni Bocca comments: “Innovation and research are strategic elements in support of the competitive ability of the companies. For this reason, it is important to keep promoting the spreading of new ideas, to stimulate the R&I and the SMEs in investing and reporting the innovations of product, process, and management that have been realized. This is the spirit that led us to share and support the joint initiative of the Polytechnic University of Turin and the Miami Scientific Italian Community”.

“Our aim is to support Italian scientific excellence and the export of the abilities,” said Fabio De Furia, President of the Miami Scientific Italian Community, “especially those of our young talents who, with their innovative energy, represent an opportunity for the Italian system growth. In order to enhance the Made in Italy resources, we want to activate a virtuous circuit throughout the innovation process, and among all the operators, capable of relaunching our country on international markets.
