TECH COLLIDER 2023 – a Knowledge Share event is a unique event connecting the world of Italian public research with businesses, investors and innovators.
The event is the 4th edition of the renowned Tech Share Day: our free, digital event, aimed at expediting the match between public research and the innovation industry.
This first 2023 edition will focus on innovations which have benefited from the PoC (Proof of Concept) grant, awarded by the Ministry df Enterprises and Made In Italy, also thanks to the funds made available by the PNRR – Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan. During the event’s webinars we will discuss about future scenarios and impact generated by the POC program and how those initiatives could support research teams, furthermore we will showcase the roadmap of the projects which are actively working to find the most suitable partners to bring their innovations and services to the market tanks to the 2021 POC’s grant.
Users can interact directly with the research teams during the webinars, being able to deep dive in their projects thanks to dedicated multimedia content, which will highlight their value proposition, the project and related team’s expertise.
The sessions will include Institutional representatives from the world of research, opinion leaders from the capital market and industry will be present, in order to provide insights and opinions from all the Tech Transfer ecosystem perspectives.
“It is a pleasure to see the consolidation of a format such as Tech Collider, now a fixed appointment for researchers and investors, and our participation will bring the reflections of an international scientific community that is increasingly approaching Italian public research” says Fabio De Furia, President of the Miami Scientific Italian Community partner of the event for the United States – “the geopolitics of research, after two pandemic years and in the context of new international scenarios, sees a new role for showcases of expertise, knowledge, and results. New relationships are established with new territorial basins of reference. There is certainly no push for self-sufficiency, but globalization, including in science and technology, is changing the skin and more neighborly relationships are being realized, where the neighborhood is not the geographic one but the one resulting from agreements, sharing, and structured partnerships”
“This year our flagship Knowledge Share event has been re-branded as Tech Collider – a Knowledge Share event, commented Shiva Loccisano, CEO of Behold of the University of Bologna and senior Project Manger of Knowledge Share – this expression has been used to stress even more it’s role of being a playground where experts from the industrial and academic worlds can meet (virtually), discuss, present new technologies and make the collisions happen. This will be the first edition within a 2 years project supported by the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, part of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, with the funds coming from the Italian Resilience and Recovey plan, which aims at growing the Knowledge Share platform with a renovated website, more contents, more users and more innovation to come. The new platform will be out by the end of the year 2023 hi concludes”.
